By Barbara Worrall, Daughter

Jan. 11, 2017:  Joan Manning Foulke, whose Bronxville shop Gifts by Joan Manning was a well-known Bronxville landmark for 45 years, passed away at a nursing home in Croton-on-Hudson on January 3. She was 96.

Over the years, she moved to at least four different locations along Pondfield Road--always expanding! She carried everything from Waterford chandeliers to silk cravats.

When closing in 2008, customers recalled shopping at her store with their moms when they were youngsters and remembered her amazing gift wrapping!

Joan is survived by her daughter Barbara Worrall.
