The concert will include Dvorak's beloved Piano Quintet in A Major for strings and piano and Shostakovich's sublime Trio in C minor, performed by world-renowned violinist Christopher Collins Lee, Nurit Pacht, violin, Kathryn Lockwood, viola, Andy Kim, cello, and Sándor Szabó, piano.
Dr. Lee became a protégé of Zino Francescatti's at the age of sixteen, traveling with him throughout Europe on his final tours. He studied violin and composition at Curtis and Juilliard, earned a doctorate degree, was a Fulbright Scholar, and has been awarded four honorary doctorate degrees. His other principal teachers were Dorothy DeLay, Arthur Grumiaux, Henryk Szeryng, and Nathan Milstein. He is currently concertmaster of fourteen international orchestras.
