Jan. 25, 2017:  Patricia Lawler Sullivan of St. Petersburg, Florida, and Bronxville died on January 9, 2017. She would have celebrated her 95th birthday on February 7.

Patricia was predeceased by her husband, Eugene Sullivan, daughter Anne, her parents, Clarence and Marguerite Lawler, and her brother, James Lawler. She is survived by three children, Eugene (Mary Anne) of New York, Jane (Joseph) Burke of Bronxville, and Mary (James) Tracy of Boston.

Also surviving are nine grandchildren (Gene, Laura, Matt, Joe, Danny, Patrick, Annie, James, and Rosie) and thirteen great-grandchildren (Michael, Connor, Braedan, Winnie, Gavin, Neve, Caitlin, Darcy, Joe, Norah, Calvin, Liam, and Abigail), a sister-in-law, Annette Lawler, and many nieces and nephews.

Born in Marion, Ohio, Patricia was educated at St. Mary's High School and St. Mary's of the Springs College (Ohio Dominican). In 1958, she married Eugene, a widower, and together they raised four children in Bronxville.

For more than fifty years, Pat was a devoted parishioner of St. Joseph's Church and volunteered with many local organizations, including Meals on Wheels and St. Vincent's Hospital in Harrison.

She was an enthusiastic world traveler, a crafty bridge player, a speedy puzzle-solver, an ardent Ohio State fan, and a continuous celebrator of life with family and friends of all ages both in New York and Florida.

Patricia/Nana/Nonnie/Gigi, your kindness, laughter, generosity, and loving spirit will live on in our hearts.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph's Church at 10:45 am on February 4, 2017.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ohio Dominican University or Suncoast Hospice Foundation.
