By the Family

Dec. 21, 2016:  Anne Leath Shaw, 86, died on December 10 in her home in Stuart, Florida, from complications of Parkinson's.

Anne was born in Tampa, Florida, to Louis and Estelle Leath. She graduated from New Trier High School in Winnetka, Illinois, and attended Skidmore College, where she met Princetonian Robert Hill Shaw, who became her beloved husband of 65 years.

Besides Bob, Anne is survived by her children, Randi Shaw Zabriskie and Robert Hill Shaw Jr., and her four grandchildren, Haley Anne Zabriskie, Charles Lansing Zabriskie, Emily Catherine Shaw, and Sarah Fraser Shaw.

Anne was a former member of the Bronxville Field Club, Siwanoy Country Club, and the Junior League of Bronxville. She found beauty in nature and loved flowers and gardens.

A private family internment at The Reformed Church columbarium will be in the spring.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Reformed Church of Bronxville, which has established a memorial fund in Anne's name for plantings and beautification around the church. Or a donation in tribute online to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's research would be appreciated. www.michaeljfox.org
