Nov. 15, 2017:  On October 28, 2017, at the age of 90, Eileen S. Stuhlreyer passed away in Chatham, MA. Eileen, along with her identical twin, Edith, was born on August 6, 1927, in Medford, MA. As a young girl, Eileen and her family moved to Bronxville, where she attended Bronxville High School and met her first husband, Eric T. Miller.

In 1946, while attending college in Massachusetts, Eileen Mary Skillings and her sister, Edith, became junior models and were featured in Life magazine Toni Co.'s ad campaign:  "Which Twin has the Toni?" The Skillings twins quickly became known as the "Original Toni Twins." After college, Eileen returned to Bronxville to raise her children. She was active in the Bronxville Junior League, serving as its president from 1964 to 1966, she played on tennis and paddle tennis teams for the Bronxville Field Club, and she developed a passion for needlepoint and knitting.

After her first marriage ended in divorce, Eileen married Paul A. Stuhlreyer and lived in Cincinnati for 10 years until she and Paul retired on Skidaway Island in Savannah, GA. Eileen loved Savannah as she and Paul embraced playing golf, entertaining friends, and enjoying many hours on the waters around Skidaway Island on their boat, At Last. In 2011, she moved to Cape Cod to be closer to her children.

While Eileen had many interests, she was first and foremost a mother, and she was a fine one. Material possessions mattered little to her; her family was her world. She will always be remembered for facing the challenges in her life with remarkable good cheer and grace.

She is dearly missed by her twin sister, Edith, of Cincinnati, her three children, Kathleen Dupont, Eric Miller, and Carolyn Bednarz, 11 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. Her family plans to celebrate her life in Cincinnati in the near future. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the ASPCA.
