Alice B. Wagner Passed Away on October 21, 2019

Nov. 14, 2019: Beloved Mother and Grandmother, Alice B Wagner passed away on October 21, 2019 in Orleans, MA.
Alice was born May 5, 1938 to Stella and Michael Baker of Mamaroneck, NY. Alice was raised in Mamaroneck and a graduate of Mamaroneck High School in 1956. Soon after Alice graduated, she attended the Parson’s School of Design and then began a career at IBM in Manhattan.
While at IBM, Alice met Robert H Forbes and they soon married and moved to Westchester, eventually settling in Larchmont, NY. They had three children Brian (who predeceased his parents), Craig and Heather. After many years the marriage ended in divorce.
Alice was active raising her two children and eventually met her second husband Robert A Wagner. Soon after their wedding they moved to Bronxville, NY where Alice continued to raise her children and became active with all her children’s activities.
She unexpectantly lost her second husband after a few years of marriage. Alice kept busy in the community raising her children and soon followed her passion for travel that lead her to many parts of the worlds. She specifically loved the Cayman Islands where she spent a lot of time and continued to develop many friendships over the years.
In addition to traveling, Alice was a golfer and a member of Siawanoy Country Club while residing in Bronxville. She also had a passion for wine and took many trips to indulge that passion.
Alice resided in Bronxville for twenty-five years before she relocated to Cape Cod, eventually settling in Plymouth, MA. She then began the next chapter of her life, which included being a loving grandmother to her daughter Heather’s two boys, Dean and Darren. Alice continued to pursue her love of travel as well as being physically active on a daily basis.
Alice is survived by her son Craig Forbes (Ellen) of New Rochelle, NY and Granddaughter Allison, daughter Heather Creed (Timothy) of Sagamore Beach, MA, grandsons Dean and Darren Glifort, as well as her sister Nancy Huber, sister in law Joan Baker, and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at a future time.
