The evening opens with a Hoch Chamber Music Series concert featuring Isabel Hagen, a Juilliard-trained violist and stand-up comedian known for appearances on The Tonight Show, Netflix, and major national venues. Followed by Hagen joining Conservatory and Hoch Chamber Music Series artists Elizabeth Lim-Dutton, Emanouil Manolov, Lawrence Dutton, and Jonathan Kim in a performance of Mozart’s String Quintet No. 1.
After intermission, Patti Murin, widely recognized for originating the role of Princess Anna in Disney’s Frozen on Broadway and for numerous Hallmark Channel films, will present a cabaret program with music director James Lowe.
The dinner/dance with the band Uptown Express will follow the concert, along with a silent auction that raises essential funding for Conservatory’s programs. These funds support scholarships for students, community initiatives, and the Conservatory’s commitment to accessible, high-quality music instruction for learners of all ages.
The Joy, Laughter & Music Gala is chaired by Sara & Michael Axelbaum and Christina Ma & Ryan Mott. Honorary Chairs are Mayor Cara Kronen of Tuckahoe, Claudia & Rodolpho Amboss, and Linda & Jack Cioffi. Each year, a significant portion of gala attendees includes individuals and families participating for the first time, offering newcomers a clear introduction to the Conservatory’s mission and work.
