Feb. 24, 2026: Meet Blaze! Blaze has just arrived in New York and is waiting patiently for his forever family.
At about 5–6 years old and 60 pounds, this handsome boy is a calm, laidback pup with a chill approach to life. He’s the perfect mix of gentle, affectionate, and easygoing and is ready to enjoy life’s simpler pleasures with his forever family.
Blaze is a true “people dog.” Once he feels safe, he’ll stick by your side like a shadow. He's not a big barker and prefers to communicate with soft whimpers and plenty of snuggles. Blaze would thrive in a home where he gets lots of love and companionship, whether that’s with someone who works from home or another calm dog to keep him company.
Blaze is a model house dog and is crate-trained, house-trained, and settles into a routine easily. He loves car rides and exploring new places at his own pace. He’s gentle with other dogs and unfazed by cats or other animals he meets on walks.
Because Blaze occasionally shows his love and happiness with a few jumps, he’d be happiest in a home with older children who can enjoy his affection.
