NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester Annual "Community Conversations" Event Highlighted Capital and Programmatic Initiatives

Nov. 28, 2024: NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester hosted its Annual Community Conversations Reception at Siwanoy Country Club on Oct. 24.

The event was co-hosted by NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester Community Board members Matthew Murphy, Partner, Venable LLP and Christina Parajon Skinner, Associate Professor, The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

The event highlighted exciting capital and programmatic initiatives surrounding Women’s Health and Pediatrics at the hospital.

Conversations were led by hospital leaders including Paul Dunphey, Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer; Dr. Kathleen Hardart, Director of Pediatrics; and Dr. Cassandra Blot Simmons, Chief, Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Most notably, the hospital's new Labor and Delivery unit is slated to open this winter with state-of-the-art equipment, new operating rooms, private triage suite, breast feeding support, post-discharge lactation support groups and parent support groups.
