July 10, 2024: The Bronxville sports teams had a very successful spring season, and individual athletes are still being recognized for their accomplishments.

The Westchester/Putnam Spring All-Stars were recently announced by lohud, and 23 Broncos were named to their lists.

Wyatt Gravier received top honors as Outdoor Track Runner of the Year, and All-Section and All-American lacrosse player Luke Arrighi was named to the First Team.

Gravier, who is a rising senior at Bronxville, won the New York State and Federation Championships in the 110m hurdles this past spring. He set the Bronxville School record in the 110m hurdles in 13.94, a time that places him second in New York for high school athletes.

Gravier, an all-round track and field athlete, placed 2nd in the 400m hurdles (55.21) in Division 2 at States and placed 4th in the 4x400m relay with Spencer Martin, Javier Tomala-Reidel, and Davis Patterson. The 4x400m team ran the race in 3:24.73 setting a new Bronxville School record.

Steve Klurfeld, was selected as lohud Coach of the Year for boys’ tennis. Under Klurfeld’s guidance, the boys’ team won the Division 2 New York State Team Championship in 2023 and 2024, and the girls’ tennis team won the Division 2 New York State Team Championship in 2023.
