Gramatan Village Launches Well Spouse Support Group and Solo Agers Club

Jan. 9, 2019: Gramatan Village is excited to announce two new programs that are free and open to the public, as well as for members, launching this January: the Well Spouse Support Group and Solo Agers Club.
The Well Spouse Support Group is intended for spouses and partners who have a loved one contending with a serious illness and/or dementia to provide peer support and education about the special challenges and unique issues facing well spouses on a daily basis. Individuals will be able to share their experiences in a compassionate and supportive environment. The first meeting will take place on Tuesday, January 24, from 10:00 to 11:30 am at the Gramatan Village office. Refreshments will be provided.
The Solo Agers Club will serve individuals who may be without a spouse/partner, without family, and without children. Gramatan Village will meet Solo Agers’ needs in a caring and supportive environment and we will discuss upcoming activities for 2019 and will focus on intentions for the new year. The first meeting will take place on Tuesday, January 29, from 10:00 to 11:30 am at the Gramatan Village office. Refreshments will be provided.

Gramatan Village is a nonprofit organization that supports adults ages 55 and up who want to age in the home and neighborhood that they love.
