Letter to the Community from Mayor Marvin Regarding Upcoming Election

March 13, 2024: On Tuesday, March 19th there will be an election to return to office my three colleagues, Trustees Mary Taylor Behrens and Helen Knapp and Justice Natasha Nordahl. I asked you as a sign of support for three of the most hard-working people I know to cast a vote affirming their service to the Village.

I have been honored and truly blessed to have the most incredibly intelligent, thoughtful, conscientious and prudent colleagues in my tenure in government and our current group is no exception.

On the national level, we represent the two major parties along with political non-affiliation.

I am proud to say we leave those national labels at the door and work seamlessly together in an incredibly respectful and cooperative manner for the good of the Village as we all truly see ourselves as stewards of our precious home and not as politicians, espousing causes unrelated to the Village’s health and safety.

I can honestly say we are the envy of many of my colleagues as we “cross the aisle” every day in our shared mission to provide you with the best possible governance and oversight.

I will be voting to say a big thank you to my incredible colleagues on Tuesday, the 19th and I respectfully ask you to do the same.

Sincerely,

Mary Marvin, Mayor of Bronxville
