Covid Report: Covid Mask Mandates Lifted; Local Cases Have More Than Tripled

May 4, 2022: Mask mandates were lifted in New York State on February 10, 2022. While Covid-19 cases in our area initially continued to trend lower, reported cases are now up significantly.
According to the Westchester County Covid-19 dashboard, reported Covid-19 cases in our area have more than tripled from 333 on March 14, 2022, to 1,162 on May 2, 2022.
There are currently 36 reported cases in Bronxville. The positivity rate, that is the percentage to test positive from all those tested, in Westchester is currently 8.6%.

According to the Westchester County Covid-19 Vaccine Tracker, the vaccination rate in zip code 10708 (1 dose) is 88.7% as of May 3, 2022. Click here for more information.
